A few times a year we will cut Dan loose to brew whatever he chooses, uncensored, uncut, unplugged. The bottle you hold is handcrafted for the adventurous soul. We brewed this one small batch, and make no promises to ever brew this style again.
Warning: Caution. Our Imperial IPA will smack you In-Your-Face. This is an aggressively hoppy IPA. An explosion of hops including East Kent Golding, Cascade, Tomahawk, Warrior and Chinook dominate this pale summer brew. IBUs delivered like you’ve never enjoyed before. Our imperial IPA is alive with a bottle fermentation that catapults hop aromas to the front with bitter notes that will dance till dawn on your palate. Serve immediately at 45 degrees F. Thanks for Supporting the Arts.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium frothy head leaving decent lacing. The aroma is a strong fruity hop and pine. Thick mouthfeel with a strong bitter hop bite with flavors of pine and orange. Hides alcohol well, a very impressive IIPA from New Glarus.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed after a nice greasy fish fry on a pretty lake in St. Germain, WI. Appearance a slightly cloudy golden amber with a thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma is rich in pine and citrus hops, light alcohol, smells rich and potent. Taste is pretty damn good, light fruit, piney hops, sweetness from the malt, also a very subtle vanilla presence. Really enjoyed this stuff, another great brew from this series.

Really good experience. Pours a lovely golden yellow with nice, thick, long-lasting head. Floral and hop aromas. Flavor is strongly citrus--grapefruit--with nice, bitter hop residue. Trust the folks at New Glarus to turn out a really fine double IPA.

From a 12oz bottle, poured a light amber color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is serious pine with a sweet malt aroma (touch of honey?). Flavor is light pine notes with a nice resin character to it.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Thomas_E. Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Hoppy, lightly citrusy aroma. Medium body, some light caramel accents, some fruit and weak, woody notes. The finish is solidly bitter. Somehow this fails to really deliver. 270607

Bottle pours a slightly hazy light yellow orange witha small off white ring of a head. Nice citrusy, hop aroma but not completely eclipsing the sweet light malts. Flavor is quite bitter with only moderate hop flavor. Somewhat papery and a trailing bite. Nice anf full bodied. Decent but expected a bit more. Thanks to BuckeyeBoy

Bottle: Transparent golden pour with a large white head. Lots of citrus hops, florals, and fruitiness. Hops in citrus and florals, sweet malt, fruitiness, and some earthy notes. Nice wave of sweet malt into hops. Well balanced and warming with just a hint of alcohol in the tail. Thanks to Jeremy for sharing this one.

Bottle from CaptainCougar. Light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Herbal, piney aroma with notes of lemon and biscuit. The body is a hop tea of sorts, with medicinal and citrus flavors, a bit earthy. Lemon and biscuit. The hops have certainly faded since this was brewed, and oxidation is noticeable, but this is still a pretty good beer.

Bottle from buckybeer; Nose is hops, hops, and more hops; slighty hazy amber with a medium, glass-lacing yellow head; flavor hoppy withoutbeing overly bitter, mixed with some citrus; Body is nice and slightly syrupy; Excellent!
