Orange Blossom Mead, aged for 2 years in a 20 year old Scotch Barrel. The complexities of the barrel add to the deep citrus honey notes.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out complex wildflower honey and alcohol. Flavour is intense, with lots of whiskey barrels, orange blossom, and wildflower honey. Complex and richly layered. Fantastic.

4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint during their 6th anniversary celebration. Slightly hazy yellowish orange. Aromas of light Scotch, honey, oak. Tastes of honey, light Scotch, light caramel, oak. Dangerously well masked alcohol for the ABV. Light body with a dry and slightly warm finish. Pretty tasty.
