Growler during RBWG. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is cherry skin and chocolate. Medium mouth with nice roast, cocoa and light cherry flavor, very good.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Growler at RBwG 2013 Grand Tasting. Interesting stuff. Not very sweet, some dark malts, dry burnt bread. Some tang. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, a bit astringent. Not much going on here.

Pours coal black with medium brown head. Some lacing, thick body, and roasted malt aroma. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, some cherry , and a bitter hop finish. Cherry doesn’t dominate and I enjoyed this one.
