Very cloudy, thin head. Light plum, bit yeasty. A bit yeasty and a touch of plum. Finishes with a bit of plasticy phenols and the plum remained quite delicate.

At the brewery during GABF week, 2015. Hazy orange color, it looks good. Aromas has yeast and wheat. A little fruit and actually some grit on the palate, which is perfectly fine with me in a saison. I get just a little plum flavor because I am looking for it. Some very light spice.

Tulip at the brewery - milky orange/ruby color - nose has some mild peppery phenolics, Some grass, mild esters, subtle plum sweetness - I’m glad the plum is subdued in the flavor - it presents some up front, bringing a mild sweetness - gets a little drier through the middle, bringing some grass followed by moderate white pepper and a slight rustic character, finishing with slight acidity - overall, it’s a little muddy and yeasty - needs cleaning up so the different qualities pop rather than blur together.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is spice, clove, lemon zest. Medium mouth, clove, light plum, dry finish, very good.
