Family, summer, barbecues. . . Independence! We brewed Eighteen as the beer we wanted to be drinking this Fourth of July. She's dry, soft, citrusy, and supremely drinkable for such a big beer. We taste a melange of bright citrus paired with pungent hop bag saturation - a culmination of sorts between C15 & C16. We hope you're able to enjoy it with good company and in good cheer this fourth.

Pours an only slightly hazy, peach tea color, with smallish head. Aroma is rather muted citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, along with a prominent butterscotch note, that I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to be there. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. I may have gotten a bad can of this...

Can (2/16/23) pour shared by Clark VV--thanks, Clark! It's a deeply hazy dark yellow with light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and tropical fruit and late pine. Taste is strong citrus/orange and pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of aroma and flavor and balance of citrus and pine of classic traditional IPA.

Canned Feb 23, drunk 2/25/23. Moderately hazy, lemon-golden, small, white head. Juicy lime and lemon with meyer lemon and white grapefruit. Soft and juicy with tons of tropical fruit and a high maltiness. Bright citrus for sure. Thank you, Tree House.
