Bottle at home. Vintage 2016. Pours a dark mahogany colour with a small beige head. Aroma of pine, weeds, caramel, bourbon, licorice, rye bread, oak and leather. Flavour of oak, alcohol, grass, and bread crust. Has a slick and slightly silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. It might have been a better beer when it was younger. Now it's a bit boozy and unbalanced with a dry and bitter flavour in the end. I guess the dry hoppiness was suppose to be a central part of the flavour, which is now gone.

Bottle shared by my daughter. Nose is toffee, vanilla, oak, and a hint of tobacco. Clear rusty brown with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with contrasting bitterness, tobacco, toffee, bourbon, and vanilla.

On tap at APEX. Pours a clear light brown orange hue with a small white head. A big boozy malty and bourbon nose. Toast, berries, vanilla, wood, big bourbon. Very good beer. Works well.

Bottle, pours a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out perfumey notes and lots of boozy bourbon. Flavour is very boozy and perfumey as well, with vanilla, perfume and bourbon. Too hot and perfumey. Not impressive and hard to drink.
