Bottle as Christmas Gorilla Baltic Porter. Clear dark amber body with a medium sized, dense beige head. Aroma has dark, roasted malt and, chocolate. Flavor is sweet, dark, roasted malt, chocolate and hint of coffee. Fine body and nice aftertaste. A pleasant, not too sweet Baltic porter. Nothing extraordinary but nice and pleasent.

Bottle at home. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, some dark chocolate, light herbal notes, some liquorice in the finish. Flavour is moderate sweet with some roasty bitterness. Body is medium, a litte creamy. Pretty good.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet, licht bitter en warm met iets van een licht fris zuurtje, karamel en bittere chocolade.

Bottle, as Christmas Gorilla Baltic Porter. It pours a reddish brown body under a dark beige head. The aroma is bready and roasted, with some chocolate and toffee, with an artificial feeling fruitiness. It’s medium to full bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Roasted malts, toffee, chocolate hints, notes of bread and a sweet artificial fruitiness in the flavor, stretching into a long finish. A nice one, except the sweet candy-like fruitiness. 180210

330 bottle from Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Huge, dense fawn-coloured head, near-black body, crocheted lacing. Attractive smell of roasted malts and dried fruits. Roasted dark malty flavours with coffee, nuts and earth. Prolonged ending. Smooth and fine bodied. Enjoying. (Shared with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 01.08.2017).
