Bottle. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a big beige soapy head. Aroma of dried fruit, coffee beans, oak, forest floor, pine and some smoke. The flavor has more roasted malt with coffee beans, oak, ash, dark chocolate and pine. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and light bitterness. A well-roasted and nice Baltic porter.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 33B/9C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 087 (BBF 26.09.2017). AROMA: moderate roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate with a smooth slight sweetness. Complementary nutty and perfumy orange-like aroma from the Cointreau barrel. APPEARANCE: dark brown color and clear with ruby body against light. medium moussy tanned head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with notes of cocoa, oranges and a slight nutty flavor. slight malty sweet presence. medium bitterness with a roasted and almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-full body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a very interesting and always perfect marriage between chocolate and orange.

Bottle at Pub Winston. Opaque brown color, small firm beige head. Aroma has wet doggie, cold coffee and some wood and vanilla. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty, vanilla sweetish flavor. Aftertaste has some hops. Quite easy for this abv.
