Enjoyed on tap at Little King in Brooklyn, NY while waiting to meet a friend’s kid. I didn’t take tasting notes, but remember this being mighty fine, and I would have it again.

Tap into a shot glass show lightly filtered honey brown with no head. The nose shows very light bready malts. The palate is medium bodied and fully carbonated. Light malt flavors on the front with a big IPA bitterness on the end. Not much here.

Draught throughout various parts of NYC, 4/16 and 4/17/16.
Fairly hazy goldenrod with a strong white head atop.
Lots of c-hops in the nose creating a heavy grapefruit and light pine aroma. But there’s some leafy, almost minty notes as well, with dry pineapple, grainy biscuit and light caramel. No alcohol or flaw.
Pleasingly fruity, with a well-attenuated, malty texture and engaging carbonation. Minty-to-grassy hops with pineapple and guava interludes are slowly replaced by juicy grapefruit and moderate pine. Orange rind, sweet lime and bits of caramel and biscuit linger. Nothing earth shattering, but as far as assertive, flagship beers go, this is damn fine stuff. I don’t even like west coast IPAs and I had a number of pints of this over the weekend.

Can, dated 1/15/16. Pours clear orange, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is very piney and resinous, dank and earthy. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, huge resin over dank forest floor. Medium body, lingering bitter finish.

Draught, smallish head with some lacing, clear and quit deep orange color, citrusy piney flavor, herbal shrubby flavor with a medium bitterness and just a bit of malt in the back, mellow bitter aftertaste, Nice pleasant IPA.
