Bottle at Rudyards, Houston. It pours pretty much black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich, roasted malts, vanilla, bourbon, wood, toasted coconut and coffee grounds. The taste is bitter - sweet, roasted malt, unctuous, coffee, vanilla, coconut, wood, toasted marshmallow, cocoa and warming alcohol with a slick finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Rich, well-rounded and rather tasty. Good stuff.

Bottle at B and Js. Pours a very dark brown with medium beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is chocolate, wood, bourbon, vanilla. Slick mouthfeel, roast , marshmellow, cocoa, bourbon, bitter finish, very nice.
