Our twist on the traditional robust American Porter, Shake Chocolate Porter is dark black in color with rich, sweet aromatics and flavors of dark chocolate, coffee and caramel. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouthfeel.

Dark brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of tootsie rolls, chocolate, hazelnut. Taste is mildly sweet, finishing with vanilla and more tootsie rolls. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Okayish. A sort of cheap dessert beer.

Bottle from Total Wine. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Dominated by sweetish chocolate aroma and flavours with a touch of leafy hop, dense malts and trace of dark berry, before a lightly bitter finish. Fine.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a medium sized, foamy, tan head. The aroma is immediate dark chocolate bar, with some sherry, chalk, and berries. Sweet and malty, with a bit of acerbic bite. Medium body, with a malty, syrupy palate. This is a solid, simple chocolate beer!
