Bottle at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, citrus, wheat. Medium mouth, citrus, clove, yeast, lingering dry finish, very good.

Hazy tan, overripe fruit, peach, touch of diacetyl, maybe touch of honey. Taste us yeasty, lots of carbonated, the palate is not as overripe, but has a mellow pale malt character.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color. It’s nice because it adds a cereal aroma to the classic Saison aroma, a bit fruity. The mouthfeel is a bit too yeasty and dusty; spicy, yes, lightly fruity, but also too dirty.

10oz pour at Bier Baron. Pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose is mild, some honey, some grass, some soap, some candy. Flavor has some fruit sweetness, some honey, grass, herbs, perfume. Clean finish. Eh...

750mL bottle, courtesy of Oakes (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of farmhouse notes and light citrus. Flavour is pretty standard for a saison, but very well-brewed, bringing out notes of rustic farmhouse notes, yeast, and light funk. Everything is well-balanced, with a dry yeasty finish. Highly drinkable and thirst-quenching, good for a hot day. Very good stuff.
