Can, shared by Brian. Hazy light orange, with a giant, fluffy white head. Nice aroma of tangerines and butterscotch. Sweet up front, with a mellow, easy bitterness. Light to medium body, creamy, and smooth. This is a solid pale ale that showcases Galaxy hops very well.

Draught at the brewery. Clear pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, balanced hoppy taste, medium hoppy finish. Quite a nice brew.

Tap at the brewery . Pours clear amber / blonde . Smell is fruity . Taste is very full , stone fruits ( once again reminding of nelson hops ) . Bitter but not extreme . Nice beer, but this is the highest rated one by them and I prefer most other beers I had by them ...

32 oz growler. The beer is a dull pale gold. Nice-sized head, white. Just an aside, but the head barely kicked up on the first pour from the growler but came on strong on subsequent pours. The aroma is full of sweet citrus hoppiness, big on pineapple and tangerine. Some pine, blackberry, melon, grapefruit. Good stuff. In line with other tropical citrus hoppy beers, but it seems a bit spicier, maybe more acidic. A touch of simple malt sweetness in the background. Gentle bitterness in the taste. Solid hop flavors. Citrus rind, pine, melon. Very flavorful without any bland bitterness but still clean and refreshing. Carbonation seems normal, though the beer has some nice body. Some mineral flavor. Seems like another hoppy beer with water dialed in right. It’s light but creamy and packs in the hops. Good stuff.

Growler thanks to Shane! Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a nice grass and pine hop combination with a hint of earthy citrus and a nice light grain backbone. Flavor has more bitter, earthy pine with just a bit of grass, a hint of marijuana and backing sweet grains.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 9/20/13

Aroma: The aroma has lots of tropical fruit, pine, and resin, with some clean malty undertones
Appearance: The pour is hazy golden-orange color with a small head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly hoppy as well, with some nice bitterness, and a clean, light sweetness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a clean feel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an excellent APA. It has the hoppy feel of an IPA with the easy drinkability of an APA. Excellent stuff.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus and herbal hops with dry, pale, crackery malts. The taste is bitter citrus, herbal hops with melon notes. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
