On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, oak, roast. Medium body, oak, ash, roast, light boozy finish, good.

On tap at the brewery. Inky black with a tan head, fruity hop aroma that entices. Oaked whiskey flavor with a savoury sweetness. Sweet flavor but very nice.

Tulip at the brewery - black pour, soapy tan lace - nose of woody hops and oak - flavor is spicy, woody hops, roast, oak, chocolate, vanilla - spicy finish, lending a bitterness that seems much higher than the listed 44 ibu - tasty stuff, perhaps a little sweet.
