Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Slightly hazy straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavor of mildly tart fruit, yeast and toasted malt. The finish is slightly sour with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Growler thanks to Shane! Pours a near clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light tartness with a touch of lemon and a faint grain backbone. Flavor is similar with a light lemony tartness throughout that becomes a touch dry and just a hint of light grains.

Mini growler from a keg at Beer Table Pantry - NYC. Pours lightly hazy, pale yellow with a fine, white foam head. Citric lemon in the nose, suggestions of tang. Light sweet flavor with dynamic tangy fruits, stuff like lime, melon, lemon, mellow bitterness, light saltiness, hints of pale wheat. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and very refreshing to finish with great, fresh lime and lemon citric bite, more salt. Great work.

On tap @ The Gingerman, New York. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy finger thick head. Aroma is quite tart, with yeast, citrus and hay. Medium body with a rather thin texture, and normal carbonation. Flavour is lightly tart with lime, hay and grass with a short finish. Easy drinking, but a bit boring.

20.06.2013, tap @ Tørst:
Small mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish and dry, light malts, grass, sour apples, leafs, hints of sulfur. Taste is slightly acidic sour, light malts, sorrel, hay, citrus peel, rhubarb, sour apples, chalk, grass, citrus. Slightly dry mouthfeel. A little boring, but still a nice one.

Tap at the Blind Tiger NYC, 20/05/13. Hazy orange amber with a very thin white head. Nose is sour fruits, lemon rind, tarte apple skins. Taste comprises tarte apples, lemon, earthy, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte light puckerings in the finale. Thirst quenching and refreshing after a shitty 4 hour Greyhound ride cos Amtrak couldn’t be fucking bothered to provide their own alternative service - the WANKERS ! I digress ... decent enough sour without too much in the way of complexity.

Blind Tiger, NY tap ($6.50): Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheat and lemon. Taste is rather sour, in a straight up way, not a vinegary way though. I like the way that the Brett turned out here. Very easy to drink. Nice wheat backbone.
