Tasted at ’Bierweekend de lambiekstoempers’ 2015. PLEASE stop making clear bottled-beers !!!! Pours clear blonde. Smell is grainy, intense, complex, fruity hops. Taste is bitter, yeasty. Some grains. Very sharp and intense. Good. Bit soapy towards the ending perhaps.

At Lambikstoempers’ Bierweekend in Alsemberg. New variation on Perron Blond with Mosaic hops. Creamy and moussy, dense, stable, off-white head over a light hazy golden beer with strong sparkling. Agreeable and elegant aroma of orange flesh, lime, tropical flowers, grapefruit, peach, white bread; clean fruitiness in the mouth, light mouthfeel, restrainedly sweet with slight sourish edge, very aromatic, floral and citrussy hop finish, long but remaining soft and subtle, not deeply bittering. Still, in view of the use of an American hop variety, this is perhaps a bit closer to an American style IPA than many other ’Belgian IPAs’ (because that is basically what this is: a hybrid between Belgian blonde ale and IPA - so as far as I’m concerned, this could just as well be classified as an IPA).
