Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared by Erwin Van Moll. Hazy red color, average sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is sweetish, strawberry jam dominates over raspberry influences. Taste is quite full, probably due to the rye, moderately sour, nice raspberry in there, lovely red fruit finish. Very nice, well done by Buxton again.

Keg at Euston Tap, London. A dark red coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Sour, raspberry aroma. Tastes raspberry, sour, dry, tart berry fruit. Not usually my style of beer but I liked it.

Bottle. Pours brownish red, with a creamy head receding to lacings. Aroma is tart with raspberries, grapes and fruit peel, with musty earth and wooden notes, as well as some light funky acidic notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruits and lactic acid, with rhubarb, raspberries and grape peel. Tart, musty fruits in the finish.

On tap at Whatโ€™s Brewing. A small, beige head sits on top of an unclear, reddish orange body. Itโ€™s almost milky-sour on the nose, fruity, with a lightly spiced malt touch. Medium body, quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. Milky sour flavor with a tart berry touch, raspberry notes and some malts. A spiced hint in the back. Fruity finish. Not much interesting going on here, except for the rye touch I think. 141031

Pours reddish brown, frothy head that comes down in a few minutes. Has some sour acidity and acetic notes with beautiful raspberry aroma. In the taste it is sort of similar - loads of raspberries without any residual sweetness. Pure raspberry essence. Drinks nice as it is or would be a perfect match with a raspberry cheesecake - sweetness cancelling out the sourness and raspberry just reinforcing itself from both sides.

Bottle. Light reddish brown with a white head that rapidly fades to less than a coat. Very jammy aroma - raspberries obviously, but a little lemon and apricot stones for setting too... - shy rye spiciness. No great sign of the upcoming tartness. Thin body, lowish carbonation. Quite tart with lots of raspberries, spicy and tangy at the end. Under the berries and acid it seems a bit murky. Refreshing but not convincing.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small white head. Aroma is raspberry fruity, toasted malty and mild citric. Citric, raspberry and dry. Linhering smooth juicy raspberry into the finish, declining sourness.

330ml bottle from BeerRitz. Deep reddish colour with an orange tinge, short-lived white foam head and aroma of grain, wheat, syrupy raspberry. Taste is sour fruity, wheat, sweet raspberry, some hay. Thin sharp tangy mouthfeel, light bodied, fine carbonation, dry sour finish. Quite drinkable.
