Dark copper coloured body with a light brown glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, earth, grain and a dose of grapes as well. Light-bodied; Assertive toffee and light malt & grain notes right afterwards, but some subdued sweetness from grapes and light fruits like apples and pears and little else afterwards. Aftertaste is mild and very subdued with some grain, caramelised sugars and light fruit and yeast flavours afterwards. Overall, a good and relatively clean and fresh Marzen beer that shows well, has absolutely no bitterness for a lager and supports a good deal of complexity and depth of flavours for the style. Worth trying and grabbing if you can find this or if you enjoy the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits (Orange Blossom Trail) in Orlando, Florida on 28-December-2017 for US$2,29 sampled a few hours later in my hotel room here at Walt Disney World [Dolphin] on 28-December-2017 celebrating my second daughter's 3rd Birthday!

Hazy amber color with a large khaki head and very good retention. Spotty lacing. Good Oktoberfest caramel and malt flavor interrupted by a boozy finish. Too boozy for the style. 5.8 ABV is obvious.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy coppper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is caramel, bread, grain. Medium body, bready malt, spice, light dry finish, decent.
