Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is malt and fruit forward. Lots of caramel and toffee with quite a bit of raisin, fig, date and prune. Light toasted bread notes with faint chocolate. Hints of burnt sugar and roast. Light oak and bourbon notes, Pours a murky brown with some auburn hues and a medium sized, fairly thin, tan head that recedes to the edges where it quickly disappears. No lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderately strong malt notes and some lighter fruit character. Lots of caramel and toffee with some lighter toasted bread. Much lighter burnt sugar and chocolate notes. Hints of roast. Medium light raisin, prune and fig notes. Some light bourbon and faint oak notes with medium light alcohol spice. Moderate bitterness. A light vegetal, herbal, grassy note in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but noticeable astringency and medium alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent Wee Heavy, but not super impressive. It is a bit thin and the barrel notes are not super pronounced. It has nice malt and fruit notes, but I kind of expect more from a club beer.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wood, toffee, booze. Medium body, toffee, wood, boozy, good.
