Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, sour fruit, and oak. Thin body, citrus, oak, nice tartness, light gin and juniper, very good.

This beer pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium thick fluffy white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart citrus, spices and yeast. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, funky yeast, malt and subtle spiced gin. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Brown bottle poured into a glass. Hazy golden with no head. Aroma is nice tart, medium body, low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is tart oak malt.

Poured from a bottle courtesy of Zach. Aroma has a lot of fruit character, especially tropical fruit and pineapple. Some orange and lemon lime citrus with an underlying herbal note that works well. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a small white head that recedes to the edges and disappears. No lacing and slight legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with more lemon lime than in the aroma. Lighter tropical fruit with a stronger herbal note. Low bitterness. Light malt notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty nice and interesting beer. I think I like the aroma more than the flavor though as the herbal notes get a bit strong. Definitely reminds me of a gin cocktail.

Bottle thanks to alwcordell! pours clear orange amber, medium white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is tons of oak, funky barnyard, fruity, perhaps gin, but its not too obvious. Flavor is light sweet, medium tart, some nice funk. Quite woody, citrus notes, some juniper notes as well, particuarly on the finish. Ah yes, gin. Nice. Medium body, quite effervescent. Pretty tasty for a gin lover.

Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Devil’s place. Actually it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers and for this particular beer especially. Slight sweet but off aroma. Mild haze in the brew, otherwise pale looking. First taste yields a good co2 sizzle. Tart backbone fer sure. The tartness makes the unique flavors go over rather well. Good wild beer. Overall a rather fun selection even with its weird uniqueness. I kinda liked this one. Hid its alky content well.

22 oz. bottle, in trade with Treebute, and shared at Ale Alpharetta. Pours cloudy orange, with minimal head, and an off-white ring. Strong aromas of pineapple, cloves, lacto, juniper and pepper. Pretty significant sour flavor, but not too aggressive. Sweet and citrusy. Medium body, sticky, syrupy, and sharp. This is a very aromatic and tasty beer. The gin and citrus are evident, but overall, it is a nice sour, with a balanced flavor, and a pleasant mouthfeel.

Bottle from a trade with barak316. Pours hazy golden color with white head. Aromas of citrus, lemon, juniper and wood. Tart flavor with the juniper from the gin being quite noticeable. Also some wood and lemon. Medium body with average carbonation. I’m a big gin fan so this beer was very enjoyable for me. Thanks Bill.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out nail polish / acetone, floral notes, and tart fruits. Flavour really brings out lots of nail polish, acetone, floral notes, and acid on the finish. Something very wrong about this - I can't get past the nail polish. Bleh - very difficult to drink. Not good.
