Brown, woody, light vinous character, has a nice malta, brown sugar note, with a dash of grapey character.

On tap at Naked City, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of wood, vinous notes, tart fruits and a little balsamic. Flavour is complex, with balsamic, vinous notes, some wood and tart fruits. Complex and well-rounded. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is leather, oak, cherry skin, grape. Medium body, leather, oak, grape, tart, very good.
