Flesje gedeeld met Tom, Benzai en Roelzie1986. Goudgeel, troebel bier met stevige schuimkraag. Aroma van nootmuskaat. Smaak is zeer kruidig. Nasmaak van kruiden en hop.

Bottle shared with Inoven, TomHendriksen and Roelzie1986. Hazy golden color, huge soapy white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is herbal, spices, yeast. Taste malts, herbs or spices, nutmeg or clove. Herbal bitterness. Average to medium body, fizzy carbonation. No, not my kind of beer at all.

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of banana, sweet, malty, sugary. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, some citrus, spicy, banana, yeast. Aftertaste: sweet, some caramel, malty, touch of honey, little bitter, spicy, some coriander. Too sweet for a saison and the yeast is too fruity (banana) for the style.

At ’bierweekend de lambiekstoempers ’ . Pours rather unclear blonde. Smell is bit smokey almost. Taste is intense, bit bitter, sweet. Very complex, very herbal ! Intense beer for sure !

The latest beer from this new micro brewery, weirdly a saison apparently intended to accompany spit-roast pig, hence the name... Thick and dense, stable, cream white head over a hazy golden blonde beer with strong, almost champagne-like fizz. Aroma of banana, pear, flowers, gooseberries, bubblegum, hint vanilla. Fruity and sweet onset, lots of banana, very fizzy to the point of being overcarbonated, lightly metallic and lightly bready, with a grassy and somewhat peppery hop bitterish finish. Needs more body and more finesse, but already a decent attempt at this style for such a young brewery.
