Wood Ya Honey is a wheat wine style ale brewed with generous amounts of local wild flower honey. We aged this beer in bourbon barrels for 10 months, elevating the rich caramel and honey character to luscious heights. Dripping honey comb, marzipan, and raisin come together for a decadent rich experience. Pour into your favorite snifter, let warm, sip, and allow your belly to surrender to the comforting embrace of craft.

Pours hazy amber with a lacing white head. Aroma: honey, wood barrels, brown sugar and burnt caramel. Taste: plenty of honey and wood barrels leading to a sweet palate. Sweet and boozy.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy dark brown. Vanilla, honey, alcohol, caramel, boost, bitter cocoa nibs, sugar. Quite sweet, over medium bitter. Full bodied, boozy finish.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A medium haze on this amber brown beer, small and short lived pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied malts, a little caramel and cream, fair bit of rich honey sweetness. The honey goes reasonably well with a soft but rich bourbon soaked ripe fruity vine. Light and semi dry finish. Tidy and drinkable if not super mature and complex.

37,5 cl bottle (13,1%) @ St. Mary's Park Aroma has sugary sweet tones, malt, ripe fruits and raisins. Flavour has sweet malt, raisins, ripe fruits and mild alcohol. Bourbon or honey are not that evident here. Swete and nice, finishing a whole bottle would be a challenge though.
