Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Plummy brown and translucent with a tiny ring of beige head. Sticky date pudding, raisins, Chambord in the aroma. The taste is ultra-sweet, which I can dig, with black raspberry and the light medicinal note of yellow dates. Syrupy body, barely carbonated. Special.

Keg at BrewDog AGM 2018. It pours opaque dark brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, juicy, toasty brown sugars, dried fruits and candy. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, toasty, umami, roasted malt, cocoa, toasted brown sugars, dried fruits, earth and vanilla with a cola finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad at all.

Bottle thanks to George. Pours a dark amber with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, caramel, spice. Medium body, raisin, fig, caramel, spice, boozy finish, very good.

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "Madtree Brewing @ Bob’s!" event on 04/14/2016. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit, yeast and spice. The finish is sweet with a malty and fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
