Sedosa, vellutada i amb poca astringència tot i tractar-se d’una cervesa negra d’alta densitat.
Molt especiada i corpulenta. Ha envellit magníficament al nostre celler i es troba en un dels seus millors moments.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor
Black colour, no head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, rye bread, roasted nuts. Strong body, sweetr, good chocolate base, but also strong liquorice and anise, with salt, and this is not really desirable (at least for me). Controversial.

Bottle - Rich cocoa and dark roast with toffee. Jet brown with a small light brown head. Bitter and dark roast with lots of cocoa. Solid.

Dark brown. Rich, dates, toffee, and some coffee, good balance. There is a light liquorice note, finish with alcohol. Solid.

Bottle@Jespers - Black pour with beige ringed head. Roasted and sweet malty with rich chocolate notes, some caramel, some liquorice, medium to full bodied, oiky thick mouthfeel, sweet roasted malty close.

pitch dark, nearly no head. aroma is roasted malty, faint boozy, not so heavy considering the abv. flavor is roasted malts, booze, wood, quite balanced, subtle coffe like bitterness to balance. really nice flavor.

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black. Small brown head. Aroma is roasted dark malt. Liqourice. Thick roasted. Almost tarish roasted. Dry, bitetr snd dark malt. Tarish and lingering roasted finish.
