Een groepje Halenaars, onder wie de huidige zaakvoerders van het bedrijf Keldermans, vereningden zich in de commanditaire vennootschap De Verenigde Brouwers GCV, met het doel de Goudster opnieuw op de markt te brengen. Voor de ambachtelijke productie werd een beroep gedaan op de nieuwe plaatselijke brouwerij Anders!

Towering, dense pale cream-coloured head , slowly collapsing over amber beer with a light mossy sheen. End of bottle solid deposit. Faintly toasted malts and some aromatic hops; fresh dark green leaves. Bitter-hoppy, with continental hops, again mixed with toasted, non-sweet malts. Faintly peppery-leafy, on the edge of earthy. At least medium bodied, almost overcarbonated. Quite slick with a hop-induced oily feel. This is quite good indeed, and off the beaten track, instead of the umpteenth bread & butter beer. Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van citrus en ananas.

20/11/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from jerre. Amber coloured, small dissipating head. Nose is fruity, spices, caramel. Taste is bitter hops, pepper, light fruity, yeast, caramel, some sweetness.

At zomerbierfestival 14 Pours unclear blonde to amber . Ok white head Sweet malty smell , bit hoppy . Taste is sweet , sugar . Bit yeasty , some hoppyness . Sweetish aftertaste , honey-candy- sweet , which is quite good !

Clear orange to amber beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, nice lacing. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty, some caramel, bit off, vegetables, some banana. Aftertaste: little bitter, banana, caramel, cookie dough, bit metallic, something off.
