Sample at Beer Meets Wood on 09/23/2017. Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Stringy lace. Aroma of peach, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, mildly tart peach, funky yeast and malt. The finish is fruity with a peachy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is moderately peach forward with some other stone fruit, tropical fruit and lighter citrus notes. Some red grapes notes and light wine notes with light oak. Pours a hazy, dull, golden straw color with a small, thin, white head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with moderately strong peach notes and some light sweetness. Light apricot notes as well with a bit of tropical fruit, melon and citrus. Medium light red grapes and wine notes with light oak. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent beer. Nope fruity notes, though a bit of a candy note to it. Acidity isn't too sharp. Nice barrel characteristics.
