Fieldwork Galaxy Sauce Double IPA 9.3% Beautiful honey gold with thick dense off-white foam and blessed with a mouthwatering hop bouquet. The taste is pineapple and coconut though you get a bit of hop burn in the finish. Smooth medium to full body. Great stuff.

Draft. murky golden beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit linger.

Pint can. Medium gold beer. Sorta hazy. Medium-sized white head, some lacing. The beer has a mix of tropical and dank flavors. Kiwi, melon, honeysuckle, mango, pineapple, tangerine with some onion and grass. Despite all of my descriptors, not a ton of depth. It’s really sweet muddled hop tropical fruitiness with earthier, spicier notes. Some malt sweetness to it. Moderately sweet, actually less sweet than expected from the aroma. Finish is grass, pine resin, old melon. Lots of kiwi and tangerine. Mild malt presence. Mild to moderate bitterness. Pretty light body for the abv. I might just not like Galaxy as much as I’d thought. Not a bad beer but the hop flavor is a bit sweet without enough redeeming juiciness.

Can thanks to Will. Pours a clear orange gold with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is dank, grapefruit, pineapple, mango. Slick body, grapefruit pith, dank, lingering resin finish, very good.

Draft as part of a sampler at Fieldwork in Sacramento. Clear orange with white head of large bubbles. Massive amounts of grass and pine resin on both the aroma and the flavor.

Can. It pours a clear golden color with a foamy white head. The aroma has intense mango candies with hints of sweet and sour. The flavor has strong mango, pineapple with some noticeable alcohol and light honey. A bit too big, with some odd savory notes. Not one of Fieldwork’s best, but still pretty decent.
