Bottled@Delirium Café, Brussels. More or less black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is toffee, mild earth cellar, sweet raisins and some nutty notes. Flavour is very similar with raisins and floral notes kicking in big time. Nice vintage feeling to this (BBE was quite many years back on this one...).

33 cl bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels
No BBE marking but scale on label ends at 2013. Aroma has strong raisins, syrupy malt and some cardboard. Flavour has raisins, syrupy malt, some flour and mild alcohol. Well, this has been preserved better than I expected.

Pours dark brown, caramelly and unclear. Good white head. Smell is aromatic dark malts. bit bitter. Taste is Very good, roasted dark malts. Rather intense, bit chocolaty. Waaw ! pretty impressed by this infant-looking beer.. Agreeable MF and good carbo . If only that had a name that you didnt feel ashamed by for drinking, and a label that doesnt look like a drawing for a 3 year old.... If Belgian brewers don’t take their beers serious, than how the hell can we ???

Clear mahoney body. Off-white head. Strangly enough hoppy bitter aroma. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Not very well balanced, but not annoying either.

19/12/2010 - 75cl bottle @ Essen Kerstbierenfestival
Clear brown beer, off-white non stable head, adhesive. aroma: sweet, cheese, yeast, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: hops, red berries, sour apple. Aftertaste: hops, a little sour touch. Pretty light and boring beer.

Little head left; shards of lace; clear, cola-coloured beer. Very spiced, with dark malts and some conifer-like aroma; frying fat. Explosive liquorice tastes, like "japwater", we used to make in childhood. Slick, and empty. Rather poor try.

It has dark red-brown colour. Quite a woody, dry flavour with a hoppy finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. A little dark fruit and metal in the nose. Rather light in body, some dark fruit and a massive metallic touch. Dry and bitterish finish - again with loads of metal. 270310
