Axion (formerly Onsight #1) is a double dry hopped IPA built on a base of American 2 Row barley and oats for a silky mouthfeel and clean finish. Hopped with a hefty portion of Citra and Galaxy, it imparts notes of soft mango, guava, apricot and a pleasantly dank finish.

Can pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is murky, turbid yellow-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width foamy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, citrus, and mild herb. Taste is strong grapefruit, herb, citrus, vaguely metallic. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a bit thin bodied but this might be the only complaint. Appearance isn't totally fabulous but aroma and taste are superb.

Can date of 12/23/19. Aroma is very fragrant, pineapple, light tropical notes, mild pine. Light herbal pine after all the pineapple and tropical fruit hints. Juicy texture and mostly dry. A very nicely made NEIPA. Glad Onsight #1 got it’s due. Very tasty!

Can thanks to Trevor. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong melon, earth, citrus, floral. Medium body, juicy, pineapple, melon, grass, light bitterness, very good.
