Notes from 2/10/19 Bottle from the OG brewery. Baby Duvel glass at home. Opaque, light brown body. Heady, but not sticky lace. Scent is full of bar bitters, greens & light aromatics. Taste is citrusy, lots of pith, pickled acidity, multi-formated bitters. Very tasty blend of acid & bitter, like a good cider. Dry finish with a bit of wanting. Not thin initially. Yeasty, agitated, well carbonated. Finishes with a very obvious gin & pepper kick. Not hot, but a bit intense in flavor. Savoring it, it was one of the best beers I've had in recent memory. Quaffing, it can be very unpleasant.
