Tap at het Doerak, Delft: Slightly golden colored colored brew with dry bitter taste, nice hints of citrus and white pepper. If you don't know it can come from Hainaut, but it from County Kildare.

Definitely a silk road vibe with a faint hint of spice. Thyme and rosemary or something along those lines. Hay and citrus, both from yeast and hops. Golden pour with ok head. Tangy end. Can.

7 3 7 3 14Draft at BRLO Brewpub, Berlin. Near clear golden with a white head. Aroma of peppery yeast, citrus and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

I thought that I had a plan when I ordered a flight at Craft & Draft but it quickly turned out that I didn’t really figure out which beers I wanted so I quickly scrambled to name 3 beers which I definitely haven’t had before. So I got these despite fearing for the worst, sadly my fears turned out to be real. This does taste like a classical Dupont styled saison but in the sweetest way possible. It is clear golden with a bit soapy head, not sure if I would want a beer like this to be even this clear. Nose is all soap, Dupont styled yeast but no complexity just a slab of sweet candy banana, sugar, whit bread, this beer has a sweet banana profile to the extent that I haven’t really felt even from a Belgian brewery. Taste is just that too sweet candy sugar, baffling sweet & not much else, if they could maybe dial back the sweetness a bit it would be okay but as it is this is just too much for me. The rustic description in the commercial description are misleading to say the least.

Draught at ATG. Cloudy yellow with a solid head. Aroma of wheat and spice. Flavour is banana bread, a little kernel, could do with more pepper. Solid beer.
