Draft: Poured a dark black brown with a tan head. Aroma is molasses, chocolate, rich roasted malts. Taste is sweet sticky, molasses, light piney.

Tap at the bluejacket Brewpub. A oily dark brown black coloured pour with a halo of mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy coffee beans, grass, roasty coffee, Ash, camp coffee. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, toasted brown sugars, cinnamon, camp coffee, sweet. Palate is semi sweet, oily, funny finish.. Toasted cinnamon. Bit weird.

Can thanks to Chow. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong cocoa, pure sugar, cinnamon, roast. Slick body, roasted malt, dark chocolate, boozy finish, very good.

On draft at Bluejacket in New Year’s Eve. Pours a dark cola with a tan head. Aromas of cocoa and chocolate. Flavors are sweet chocolate. Tasty.

16oz can pours an opaque black with plenty of frothy, tan head. Nose is cool, everything works well, ginger, maple, birch, malt. Flavor is ginger candies, maple, birch, some malt but not as much as you'd think based on the color, honey comb. Finishes full bodied, herbal. I dig it. 8 5 8 4 14
