Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful.

Interesting hefeweizen. Sweet but spicy. Lovely, but Revolt is less than impressed.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Hold on... I've not had this before? Middle of the road gold, a little bit cloudy with a massive creamy white head. Banana and grouns coriander with a wonderful hit of smoked wood. Sweet, with rampant banana and a hint of citrus. The expected clove in the taste as well. Sweetness tempered a hit in the perfect finish. Light body with medium carbonation. An amazing hefe. One of the best, if not the best, I've ever had.

Draft at Karl's Cabin. Pours a hazy, glowing straw gold with a finger of white foam. Lovely banana and clove ester-y nose with lemon as it warms. Palate is similar, endlessly drinkable. Nice clove and banana notes on the finish with a lemon note. Very nice.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Quite hazy golden yellow with white head. Lots of heavy wheat yeast, mild banana, feint metallic note. Would have been great without the metallic note. Maybe it wasn't stored correctly at the store or maybe it's just too old (there's not date listed anywhere on the bottle).
