Very crisp golden coloured body that is bright and has a slightly soapy three to four centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of very crisp grain, dry flowers, biscuits and a funky, almost artificial sugar note, but the odd yeast scent that shows way more of a lager yeast than an ale yeast. Medium-bodied; Crisp, super grainy flavour dominates with a lot of deep biscuity notes along with a dry and floral bite from all the malt, with only a slight floral and fresh-cut grass hop profile and a dash of light sugars, but again, the funky yeast is the strongest - in a bad way. Aftertaste is very dry, crisp, grainy and slightly floral, all with a very minimal amount of hops, complexity and range - this is fairly easy-drinking, funky and malt-forward. Overall, this shows as a slightly hoppier lager than any ale style, much less an IPA - even from Texas (with no special hop/IPA characteristics akin to the area), but this was very disappointing, aside from the cause for the production of the beer. This one was definitely not worth grabbing and instead, if you want to do something, order food from restaurants, donate or just get over fear and enjoy them as you would have if you weren't afraid to go out in public. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 10-July-2020 for US$4,76 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-August-2020.

Can. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with medium white head. The aroma is strong pine, floral, grapefruit pith. Slick body, juicy, melon, grapefruit, lingering resin bitterness, very good.
