Charlton draught sample, 2/13/25.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small, white head.
Quite peachy, but it's got a soft, feathery, leathery skin and juice character that isn't full of sugar or acid. Somewhat dominates the nose, only letting in light citrus on the finish, from hop. Clean, bright, fruity.
Still quite a bit of peach in the flavor. It works well with the light line and mango of the hop but does dominate to a degree. Biscuit, white bread from malt balances the texture and there's some lingering acidity from fruit. Interesting and better as it warms, but still a lot of variability on their fruit addition (or expression). It's usually tasteful, but lately feels pretty heavy-handed.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head. The aroma is floral, pine, faint peach. Medium body, juicy, dank, peach, melon, nice bitterness, very good.
