Bourbon Barrel Aged Wild Ale with Blackberries and Black Currants.

Black & Berry is our Strong, Wild Black Ale that was aged in fresh bourbon barrels with blackberries and black currants. The intense acidity, bold fruit and chocolaty malt is layered with deep notes of vanilla, spicy charred oak and rich caramels from the bourbon barrels in which this beer matured for more than a year

750mL bottle at LC member party, 1/17/25.
Clear dark purple-mahogany. Small light tan head.
Bright and juicy with a lovely mix of berry, acid and malt.
Juicy, still containing ample malt depth and without any biting acid. Rich and in great shape. Bright berry, excellent bourbon character remains. No booze.

Bottle at SP Cellar. Pours a dark purple with medium purple head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, currant, blackberry. Slick body, currant, oak, leather, dry finish, vinous, enjoyed this.
