On tap at Craft & Carry UWS, pours a cloudy rusted red with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of dry buckwheat, grainy notes, and a little oak. Flavour is somewhat estery, with toasted grains, and wild yeast. Estery and grainy. A bit messy and uncoordinated. Not so good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, floral, honey. Medium body, yeast, wheat, light dry finish, good.

Pours cloudy mahogany into a tulip. Off-white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Bread and honey aromas. Soft and sweet with molasses and honey front to back. Mild earthy finish.

Draught @ Mission Dolores. Clear dark amber with small foamy beige head, sweetish malty aroma, low carbonation, lightly sweet caramel taste with some alcohol undertones and roasted malt flavor, thin body, longish caramel finish. Smooth and sweet, quite tasty.

Fritzl’s Lunchbox, Brooklyn bottle (too much money): Pours light, dull amber with a whitish head. Aroma was pretty dope. Buckwheat, yeast, and a nice light fruitiness. Taste had a nice farmhouse feel to it. The malts and the yeast worked very well together. Nice finish. Well balanced. This was a good one from Transmitter, which for me is a hit or miss type of brewery.
