This spicy IPA is accented with warming Chai spices that add distinct cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove flavors. A hint of sweetness balances the hoppy, spicy flavors, and a touch of cardamom adds to the beer’s complex taste.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is strong chai, pine, clove. Medium body, toasted malt, cinnamon, chai, dry finish, good.

More like a hopped chai soda than an IPA, heavy on spiced chai sweetness before switching to a piney, aggressive bitter hop back end. Bitterness is the only hop presence, though; otherwise it’s all chai. Good if you like chai, then; bad if you want an actual IPA.
