alcohol aroma, murky amber with little head, medium bodied. No blueberry, and this is not a mead/braggot. Honey sweet and cloying, lingering malty harsh high ABV finish. Better cold, but if you’re looking for a braggot look elsewhere, this is just a sweet high alcohol beer.

750ml bottle pours a clear gold with some spitty, white head. Nose has loads of honey and wine, grape, mild berry, some bubblegum. Flavor has more berry, blue and black, honey, some moscato, floral. Big, sweet finish.

Starting to get into meads, this one is worth seeking out. Lots of fruit and flowery notes, all in an oily slick, slippery body/ Orange copper in color, no head to speak of, some warmth, but not as much as you’d expect from15%. Easy to drink and tasty.
