This is a robust porter infused with a classic Texas ingredient, pecans. It is full bodied and a little on the sweet side. Its bold flavor comes from its generous hop additions and toasted pecans.

Can at Prestige Taproom. Almost black, but some brown highlights. Thin ring of foam. I think there's a thin nose of pecan, otherwise, there are dark roast malts, but the total nose is pretty mild. A nice nutty taste. Then some decent mildly roast malt. Very nice, leisurely brew.

Can thanks to wombat23. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel and pecan syrup. Taste is bitter and a bit harsh at the end with a hint of raw booze. Medium-bodied, mildish carbonation. The best bit is the touch of pecan lingering afterwards on the tongue.

Jet black with a small light brown head. Sweet, vanilla, chocolate and nutty notes. Chocolate, nutty and a light sweetness. Light finish and quite drinkable.

On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is roasted malt, pecan, almond, cocoa. Medium body, light roast, pecan, dark chocolate, light dry finish, very good.
