Poured from 650mL bottle. Golden yellow with full off-white head. Sweet grapefruit hops, mild tropical hops, brett just fills in the extra notes behind balancing everything out.

Very well done, and very drinkable. Soft citrus bretta and lots of pine from hops. Pours orange amber with decent head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Good stuff. Tap at the Drake.

Pours with a perfect foam head of huge proportions, foggy gold body and modest carbonation. Good hoppy aroma of moderate complexity. Good hop flavour to start with notes of pear, apple. Dry finish. A memorable IPA in a crowded market.

Crystal clear light amber and copper coloured body with a faint tint of orange and a thick, dense, but soapy off-white head, about four centimetres tall. Rich aroma of brett, dry grapes, sour raspberries, light PNW hops and a dose of soap. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a ridiculously dry flavour up front of malt, brett, bitter funk, basement must, mushrooms and a touch of permanent marker flavour that you’d get from licking the end of a marker - interesting. Aftertaste is very drying, ever so slightly soured, but a touch bitter from hops, but mostly bitter from the brett and yeast - very herbal as well. Overall, quite a bit overrated, for sure. About what you could expect from a brett saison, but this doesn’t show any hops, nor does it show much after the brett and yeast notes. Not a bad beer, per se, but purely one-dimensional and not inspiring, really. That said, i’m glad I brought it back across the two countries and tried it, but I kind of wish I just tried this in BC and brought a different beer back across the land. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Crosstown Liqour Store in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 07-June-2015 for CA$8,99 sampled at home in Washington on 22-November-2015.

Bouteille(Merci beaucoup, Jonas!!!): Golden with a faint orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, stable - almost rocky - white head with a little lace; citrussy and herbal-hoppy nose, backed by delicate bready and cellary (Brett?) aromas; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and very soft; lingering bitter and a bit cellary and grapefruity finish. A good one…
