On tap at Redlight Redlight, pours jet black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is rich, with tons of marshmallow upfront, followed by subtle coconut, soft bourbon, and sticky sugars. Flavour brings out much more of the coffee and hazelnut upfront, rounded out by the bourbon, with moderate sticky sugars, and some softness due to the marshmallow. Big, complex and dessert-like. Wonderful BA pastry.

Dark brown. No head. Lots of toasted coconut, hazelnut. Body is thickish, like thick but not as rich as the biggest in the game. It’s big enough to carry the adjuncts, though.

Dark colour, almost black. Aroma of coffee, almonds, chocolate; intense. Full bodied, sweet; rich chocolate flavour, with vanilla, and nuts; gentle coffee, touch of rum, and almonds.
Excellent.

750ml (thx, Randall C.!) @ Alex's backyard while kids were watching Luca. Appearance: pours like oil, dark brown with no head. Aroma: nuts, coffee, chocolate, American oak, sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, lots of nuts and coffee with American oak. Overall: good one.

Sampled the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a yellow chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of Mexican chocolate and dark fruits with a bit of barrel supporting. Flavor has marshmallow and a bit Of mocha with a bit of sweet grains supporting.

Welp, this is pretty fucken good. I don't really see the point of a full review, cause ratebeer is dead anyway, but hell. This could have been an adjunct nightmare, but it really does all come together. Fudge, toasted coconut, vanilla, bourbon. It's sweet as fuck and is probably at least 2% reslonsible for my son to be diagnosed Type II diabetes, but it's fucken good. This is what pastry stouts should strive for. Fuck Russia.

Bottle shared. Thanks Ryan! Pours a pitch black with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Big bourbon and marshmallow notes on the nose hazelnut and nutella come out as it warms. Dark chocolate bourbon and marshmallow on the finish with some coconut as it warms. Like a candy bar, but so good.

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong marshmallow fluff, hazelnut, roast, chocolate malt. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, alcohol well hidden, enjoyed this.

Part BA coco fionn, part BA snowball, mad hazelnut and marshmallows. Bit thin on draft but bottle probably thicker.
