On tap at Wakefest. Pours black with medium tan head. The aroma is dark chocolate, roast, wood, bourbon, vanilla. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

12oz can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, some marshmallows and molasses drizzled dark roasty malts. The taste delivers velvety smooth dark chocolate goodness nuanced by thin marshmallow notes. The chocolate just keeps flowing as dark roasted to slightly burnt malts try and take over the experience. Really nice rich sipper with only a mild sense of the ABV.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter engelsk lakris, fløte, vanilje, melkesjokolade, Baileys Irish Cream? Fyldig. Smaker søt engelsk lakris, melkesjokolade, noe trevirke, vanilje og laktose. Noe salt lakris i avslutningen.

Can @ Wren House. Dark brown, thick head. Aroma is chocolate and hops, much more of a classic impy than the pastry stout I was promised. Full body, lots of sugars, touch of cream, mellow nuttiness. Rich, sweet but also pretty drinkable. Good balance between the pastry and the stout.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - Black coloured pour with a tanned head. Deep dark sweet and roasted malty with some opulent chocolate, some caramel and fudge sweetness, full bodied, some light wooden accents and some lovely bourbon and vanilla coalesce into the finish. Really comes alive as it warms up. Gorgeous.
