Bottle at Side Project. Black with tan head. Some roastiness, intense dark chocolate, cocoa, barrel, some bourbon. Dense and thick. Maybe a touch more of sweetness would upgrade it?

750mL bottle at the Cellar, 2/17/24. Clear with deep magenta-burnt umber tints. No head. Classic bourbon spice with vanilla tints and light graphite-like character. He's y spice, wood, vanilla and light dark chocolate. No booze. Very, very elegant. Another one that is low on sweetness relative to this series. Intense bourbon spice, like just pure bliss without any aggressive or overly tannic notes. Dark chocolate, vanilla, elegant cigar and hints of currant. No soy, roast, other oxidation, excess sugar, or overly vinousness. Pretty incredible. A crowd favorite today.

Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours black with medium tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong bourbon, wood, chicory, licorice, roast, cocoa, cognac. Thick body, roast, dark chocolate, wood, licorice, cognac upfront with nice bourbon sweetness in finish, enjoyed this.
