Jade. Exotic jewel of the orient. Now a gem of an IPA. Bold, citrusy Pacific Jade hops lend striking tropical fruit notes and a hint of peppery finish to this easy-drinking IPA. Dry hop additions of Chinook and Citra add heady aroma and bold flavor. A special beer to charm the hop lover in you. Go ahead. Get Jaded.

Hazy blonde and light copper coloured body with some honey tints and a thin off-white head. Resinous and piney scents of hops up front - pungent and strong with some malt and floral notes near the finish. Medium-bodied; Strong fresh hop flavour up front with a largely piney and floral flavour in the middle and also with a nice malt backbone and hints of alcohol on the finish. Aftertaste is very well balanced, but the fresh hop flavours of resin and flowers dominate, however some malt and sugars are still noticeable. Overall, a very nice IPA with some great fresh hop notes and a very nice balance of malt and alcohol. I sampled this twenty ounce pint on draught at Lily’s Pizza in Raleigh, North Carolina on 03-August-2014 for US$3,50 - a great price!

16oz pint at Big Hunt. Hazy orange with some creamy, lacing white head. Nose is very nice, very fruity, passion fruit, star fruit, pungent too, grapefruit pulp, some garlic scape. Flavor is punchy with green garlic, lemon, a little aloe vera, orange peel, mild honey. Zippy finish. Really nice.

On tap at the Thirsty Monk. Gold color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is brilliant citrus and floral hops. There is probably a good malt profile there somewhere, but I was too busy reveling in the hops. The flavor is very mellow, and surprisingly well balanced. Medium body, crisp, and clean. Overall, this is a very nice IPA. Very impressed.
