Jade. Exotic jewel of the orient. Now a gem of an IPA. Bold, citrusy Pacific Jade hops lend striking tropical fruit notes and a hint of peppery finish to this easy-drinking IPA. Dry hop additions of Chinook and Citra add heady aroma and bold flavor. A special beer to charm the hop lover in you. Go ahead. Get Jaded.

Sample at Thirsty Monk. Pours a clear golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense and lacing white head with good retention. Spicy, almost gingery aroma. Rich, malty body, soft on the palate with the rough and very bitter hops coming out rather late. It’s a very bitter beer indeed and in a fresher state the hops would probably have been a lot crisper. But still a solid IPA. 290715

Draft. Clear golden body with a frothy white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of citrus, toasted grain, orange juice, lemon, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, water/velvety texture, lively carbonation. On the sweet side for an IPA, but so much tastier (to my current preferences) than a resin/pine bomb. Juicy at first, but turning thicker in the finish, like pulpy orange juice.

Pours clear blonse good white head. Smell is subtile, floral, bit bitter. Very elegant though. Taste is bitter, floral. Tad aweet perhaps. Got a lerfumy tone as well which im not too enthousiastic about, but luckely, it doesnt overpower. Bit vegetal in the ending as well. All way trough it keeps its elegance though

A hazed golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light floral hops, resinous, light sulfur. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with smooth floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. On tap at brewpub.

Draft at Jack of the wood. Clear gold body with a generous white head. Aroma of citrus and pine resin. The flavor is all resiny hops with some dryness in the finish. Could use a bit more malt support for a better balance. A bit thin.
