We’re honored to be joining Weathered Souls Brewing and many other craft breweries across the country in releasing our own edition of Black Is Beautiful.
This imperial stout is brewed in support of organizations working to oppose racial injustices. We started with the base recipe provided by Weathered Souls and put our own spin on it with pecans, flaked rye and partially-aging it with bourbon barrels. The result is a fantastic beer when enjoyed fresh, but also made to age beautifully in your cellar.
Stone will be making a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. (LDF) to help national causes. We also take great pride in partnering with San Diego Loyal FC and their mission to be a force for good in our hometown community, including support of the Association of African American Educators of San Diego.

Yet another solid BiB stout, offering up rich notes of dark chocolate, anise, espresso, dark fruit, and an underlying nuttiness. Finishes with a mix of oak, hop, rye spice, and a touch of bourbon. No friggin’ trace of the ABV. Very good beer.

Bottle at WS BIB Share. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is bourbon, roast, cocoa, licorice, spice. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, dry finish, boozy, good.
