On tap at PreFunk. Dark copper pour, tiny wispy head. Nice tart nose, taste follows with mild tartness, fruit, and some tempering sweetness. A very approachable sour, hits all the marks (for me at least).

Pours a red dominant. It is clear with a small head of white foam with superb lacing.

The nose blew me away, if I can use that very much over used phrase. Big semi sweet aroma of cherries and that lovely spice known as cinnamon.

On first sip I fell in love with the taste. Semi sweet cherries in the smell translate to cherries that lean a bit more to the tart side. I still get that infusion of cinnamon and I am loving it.

Great mouthfeel and what do I have? A super delicious beer from Petrus. So very different from the equally excellent Aged Pale..can’t wait to try the Aged Red.
