bottle from a supermarket "things soon to expire" offer, dkk 15 for 33cl. Clear amber, small white to slighly reddish head. very fruity aroma, fruit and wood. a little sweet, but a nice malty fruity aroma. flavor is woody, bitter nutty, fruits, cherries, quite bitter, fruit peel and wood bitterness. fairly nice belgian sour red fruit beer.

On tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington, VT.
This was poured into a flared tulip.
The appearance was a dark amber to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. Foamy lacing follows.
The smell had a spectacular balance between vanilla sweetness to tart green apple. Sweet and sour cherries make a fine presence as well as a light oakiness.
The taste leaned towards the sweeter side of the style with \"sour\" presence even lighter here than in the smell. Vanilla sweetness hits nicely here. Silky sweet gentle sour apple aftertaste. Smooth sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light.
Overall, damn nice \"European\" smooth sweet sour ale, exceptionally well balanced. Would love to have again.

Clear ruby red beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, poepkes (candy), artificial cherry flavouring, little funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, very metallic, poepkes, sugary, little bitter. Aftertaste: very metallic, sourish, cherry candy, bitter touch. Way too sugary and sweet.

At horecabeurs 2015. Pours dark ruby/amber. Good white head. Smell is sweet, fruity. Taste is sweet, cherry (poepegattekes to those who know) Very mild, sour-ish back. Too sweet and arteficial. I don’t see how a beer this little sour ( aged pale) can pull its weight into a blend that includes a rather extreme sweet beer like Petrus aged red. I see this working is petrus aged pale was switched out for -for instance- a Hanssens geuze. I’m just not sure why you would downgrade your hanssens geuze....

On Tap at PreFunk Boise Soft sweet woody malt aromas and flavors. Some cidery pitted fruit flavors and moderate tartness. A little oak hints.
